One of Dawn’s clients wants to find a new home for her incredible, USA-bred imported mule. However, sale will only be considered to the very best of homes: an experienced rider, interested in equine behaviour who intended to produce this talented mare and get her out competing.

Any prospective purchaser would need to be willing to own a high-profile animal, and undertake to guarantee Moon year-round daily turnout, equine company and understanding... and be ready to experience a very special equine-human bond.

Please visit Moon’s own page for further detailed information, owner’s contact details, more photos and links to videos (and FAQs) of Moon - click HERE.

Chris Stronge

16.1hh ID mare

Chestnut, 7 years

Ideal family horse

Millie is an adorable, easy, laid-back pure-bred and graded Irish Draught Mare, by Hillview Farm Milligan and out of Bamba Dyfna.

She was backed as a youngster and then turned away as her owner had no rider available, and is only now being brought back into work. She is proving to be a total superstar: she loves to work, tries her best to please, goes in a natural outline and is just learning to pop a cross-pole. We see her as an ideal family horse - perhaps a mother/daughter share?

She will go to her first local dressage competition next month and with another few weeks of training she would be suitable for a novice to ride, she is so laid back and easy to work with.

Lives in or out, good to box/clip/shoe/load/catch.

Congratulations Lisa!

For sale on behalf of client:

Newmarket Lily

ISH mare (TB type), born 2010

Bay, to make 15.3/16hh

Future prospect

Lily is a very sweet young mare, who is currently

being started. She currently stands at 15.1hh, but is

expected to make a final height approaching 16hh.

Although an Irish Sports Horse, she looks like a

pure TB. Her sire is Newmarket Venture and dam

Newmarket Wonder. Passported Irish Horse Register.

Good to handle, catch and with farrier (barefoot), lives in or out, but does need company in the field.  She has also been seen to weave. With three nice, even paces, and of versatile breeding, she could go on and succeed in any sphere.

She is now backed and riding away and proving very, very sweet - tries her heart out. Already a very comfortable ride - daisycutting action. Hacking sweetly and good in traffic.

Click HERE for a video of Lily very early in the starting process, or  HERE for a video of her under saddle in mid-October.
